Ms Tillman-Adams is a retired school teacher with an M.S. in education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. She is a graduate of the Small Farmer Agricultural Leadership Training Institute of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and recently completed her certification as a Master Goat Producer from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.

Ms. Tillman-Adams is now a full-time goat producer, a volunteer with the Hamilton County School System , is a member of the Florida-SARE Advisory Council and resides in White Springs, Florida.
