Ken received
his B.S. (1967) and M.S. (1969) in Agricultural Economics from Texas
Tech and his Ph.D. (1980) from Texas A&M. Prior to joining Texas
A&M in 1982, he was on the faculty at Clemson University. His
recent educational endeavors include coordinating a multi-state
risk management effort and training producers to evaluate alternative
pricing methods.
Stokes has worked
in Poland, Kyrghystan, Nigeria, Tanzania and, most recently, South
Africa. Ken is active in the American Society of Farm Managers and
Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). He earned the Accredited Farm Manager
designation and is a former President of the Texas chapter.
Diane, his wife,
works as a tax specialist to provide working capital for Ken's cattle
operations on a farm outside of Stephenville. They have four children
and four grandkids. |
