Project: Control of Internal Parasites in Goats

Objective: Conduct workshops in-state to inform Oklahoma goat producers of the risk involved with not properly inoculating their herds against internal parasites. Conduct workshops in-state to train goat producers on how and when to use best practice methods in treating their herds for control of internal parasites. Develop and disseminate a risk management fact sheet and video on the importance of treating goat herds for internal parasites.

Objective: To provide comprehensive training and information that will improve the agricultural producer's ability to allocate scarce resources to minimize risk subject to the profit objective and to introduce agricultural youth to the concept of risk and risk management techniques.
