Project: Enhancing Use of Strategies for Reducing Farm Risks among Minority and Limited Resource Farmers

Objective: The goal of this program is to develop an effective outreach and education program that addresses strategies for reducing farm risk for minority and limited resource farm operations. The proposed program will give special attention to the educational needs of producers, who have had no, or limited, exposure to risk management concepts, tools and strategies. The purpose of the program is to provide these agricultural producers with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to make informed risk management decisions for their operations.
