Carol resides on a small farm in Stephenville, Texas with her husband and two teenage daughtersShe comes from generations of agriculture producers and has been involved in production agriculture all of her life. She joined the Southern Center at its inception after working for the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Carol's career has been in livestock promotion and public relations for agricultural prodcuers in the south for many years. She and her family are heavily involved with Texas 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) programs. She graduated from Texas Tech in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Communications.
