Tim received
his Ph.D. from Oregon State University in 1991. After beginning
his career as an Instructor of Agriculture at Fort Hays State University,
Tim then moved to Oregon State University as an Extension Specialist
in Farm Management. His programs there focused on production cost
analysis and partial budgeting.
As a specialist
with the University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension Service,
his primary focus was whole-farm financial analysis, livestock and
forage management, and machinery management. Tim is currently responsible
for program planning, delivery and evaluation for agriculture, natural
resources and resource development.
Tim and his
wife, Denise, live on a small farm with their four children and
are active in 4-H.
